Chance to brush with outstanding art in Worcester
February 21, 2013 by James
Art appreciators have a whole month to enjoy an art showcase of the best work created by students of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium Institution.
The 9th Annual College Show is an exciting opportunity for people to view some outstanding works in various mediums and will run almost an entire month. The gallery has been designed to display the works in an ambient setting that will be enjoyed by all. Poster printing was most likely used to promote this showcase and the students work to residents in this community and the surrounding areas.
This art show, which is free of charge to attend, is one of the area’s premier events and features many works by local artisans who are currently attending college. The exhibition started with an opening ceremony held on February 15 for students and dignitaries, but will continue until late March to provide area residents and their families with a chance to come out and view this wonderful display, which is sponsored by the Worcester Business Development Corporation, the Bay State Savings Bank, and the Colleges of Worcester Consortium.
The 9th Annual College Show is well underway and will continue up until Friday, March 22 at various hours, so please check the website to plan a visit. The show will be held at ArtsWorcester located at 660 Main Street in Worcester, Massachusetts. The gallery is able to take calls about the exhibit between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm from Tuesday to Friday.
