Peabody to be home to new Frotopia store
June 17, 2013 by Sarah
Opening towards the end of June will be a new Frotopia Yogurt store in the Walgreens Plaza on Route 114 in Peabody. No doubt, in addition to word of mouth, flyer printing and poster printing are being used to announce this new store just as the summer season begins.
According to its co-owner, Paul Hamel, there has been a big welcome in the town for the store, which will sell self-serve frozen yogurt. There will be 16 different flavors with over 50 toppings available. In addition, the store will sell coffee, fruit smoothies, desserts, and the specialty of the store, ‘Frotopia Swirl’, which is a blend of a chosen yogurt flavor with a person’s favorite toppings.
Hamel added that many of the flavors will be non-fat, gluten-free, low-fat, or dairy free so as to reduce the number of calories in a serving. Customers are encouraged to get creative with their combinations of flavors and toppings and have fun in the process. There are an endless number of possible combinations, so the limit is only one’s imagination in creating a delicious and healthy treat.
There will also be Wi-Fi available at the new store, as well as two function rooms so people can hold business meetings, birthday parties, or other types of private gatherings.
The store joins Yo’Gut Style and Zinga! Peabody yogurt stores which have also opened in recent months. Frotopia Yogurt will be opened seven days a week from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm.
