Marlborough Historical Society releases annual calendar

October 31, 2016 by

The Marlborough Historical Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation of Marlborough’s history, has released its new calendar with the theme ‘Dining and Dancing Through the Ages’ for the upcoming year 2017.

The outer covers of the calendar are in color, with a black and white inside that has enough room to write down important dates and appointments. Going by what can be seen on the front cover, the calendar will include some of the historic eateries of the area, like the Venetian Moon Restaurant, as well as some of its best known places to dance.

The calendar is available for $10, or a discounted $8 for members who purchase it directly from the Society, and can be found throughout the town of Marlborough at a variety of locations.

Those who wish to purchase one of the calendars but do not live in the area can order one by mail at an additional $2.50 per calendar. All proceeds will go towards supporting the research conducted by the Marlborough Historical Society.

However, should they be able to do so, they can pick one up from any of Bouvier Pharmacy, the
Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Café, Marlborough Country Club Eastside Grill, Marlborough Savings Bank, Marlborough Senior Center, Trombetta’s Farm Road Gardens, The Prospector East Saloon, Vin Bin, or Wayside Country Store.
