Michael’s to open new store near Malden
March 16, 2014 by Mark
Michael’s Craft Store is about to open its newest store in the Redstone Shopping Center in Stoneham, a town just north of Malden. No doubt the store is using flyer printing and poster printing to announce its grand opening event to all crafters in the surrounding communities, and to make them aware of the new outlet.
According to a spokeswoman for Michael’s, Heather Byrd, there will be a Plinko prize board with art supplies, jewelry, stickers, and other items, and in-store craft demonstrations at no charge held every evening during the first week, where there will chances to win a gift basket every night. A kids’ craft event will be held at a cost of $2.
District Manager Brett Ramsdell added that the new store will be a little over 21,000 square feet in size and will have 60 employees. There will be many products that should be an inspiration to crafters of all levels, and several different classes so people can learn new skills.
The design of the store will be more open, with wider aisles and brighter colors and lighting. The featured departments will be home décor and floral, scrapbooking and paper crafts, art supplies, and custom framing.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on March 23 at 9:45 a.m. with the store opening at 10:00 am.
