Evening of feasting returns to Malden

April 5, 2017 by

This month, the Taste of Malden returns for the eighth time as it showcases the restaurants that are members of the Malden Chamber of Commerce, along with other food-related businesses.

The Malden YMCA gymnasium, where the event is to take place, will be a paradise of food enhanced with live music and performances. A variety of beverages will be served from Idle Hands Craft Ales and Kappy’s Fine Wines & Spirits. Food offerings will come from Pisa Pizza, Piantedosi Baking Company, El Potro Mexican Grill, and many others.

The Executive Director of the Malden Chamber of Commerce, Jenna Coccimiglio, commented that this event enables restaurants and other food related establishments to get connected with the residents of Malden, and serves to remind them that the city can be a destination for dining.

Sponsors of the Taste of Malden include Shapiro & Hender Law Offices, Mystic Valley Regional Charter School, Designs By Shannon, and 480 Main Malden Square, among others.

The event will be held on Monday, April 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Proceeds from the event support the free youth summer food program of the YMCA and the Malden Chamber of Commerce. Both organizations can collaborate with a local printing company to create flyers and other materials with more information about the attending restaurants, the types of food to be served, and the sponsors of the event.
