Business clothing drive held during month of July

The sixth annual National Suit Drive, a partnership with Tailored For Success and Men’s Wearhouse, is currently underway to collect secondhand business attire for men. No doubt flyer printing and poster printing are being used by the nonprofit to encourage residents of Malden and the surrounding communities to donate gently used items and give others a fresh start.

The clothing items being collected through the scheme will be distributed at Men’s Wearhouse locations in local neighborhoods. The clothing items available will include suits for men and women, jackets, shirts, belts, ties, and shoes.

According to the Founder and Executive Director of Tailored For Success, Inc., Elizabeth Hart, the organization is glad to be working with Men’s Wearhouse to help local job seekers make sure they can dress to impress. The intention of the National Suit Drive is to allow the community to easily give back to those who are still in need and looking for employment, while also serving to increase the confidence of those looking for jobs by providing business attire of a more professional nature, thus helping to give them a second chance.

In addition to partnering with businesses and other organizations, Tailored for Success assists job seekers with skills and tools needed to re-enter the work force by providing workshops for writing resumes, preparing for interviews, and training for employment. The National Suit Drive of last year was such a success that the nonprofit was able to hold its first Suits for Veterans Success event.
