Ibrahim joins Dedham firm

A former operations and management expert from NSTAR Gas and Hess LNG, LLC has joined the Woodard & Curran offices in Dedham.

Samy Ibrahim, PE, has taken the reins of Senior Vice President and will be lead advisor as Woodard & Curran continues to work with prime clients in the natural gas field.

The Dedham business community and local print services welcome Ibrahim, who brings more than 25 years’ experience developing the delivery of energy services and facilities. His specialty is in consulting for energy utilities and in affiliated engineering and construction industries. The new senior V.P. has a reputation for successfully overseeing projects specifically for natural gas operations beginning with permits, planning and construction.

In addition to his new duties at Woodard & Curran, Ibrahim will remain at his post as an instructor in Boston at the International Human Resources Development Company. His areas of instruction include regulatory requirements for the natural gas industry, supply and technology and marketing to local distribution companies. His students are executives currently employed in natural gas firms in Massachusetts.

He joins more than 600 employees who work at Woodard & Curran in Dedham and the eastern U.S. The firm is a private integrated engineering company with clients and operations nation-wide. It was founded in 1979 by Frank Woodard and Al Curran, with a mission to provide a high quality of consulting services in the areas of engineering, science and operations and to hold environmental protection in a much higher regard than any other interests.
