Chocolatefest is a community festival that is family oriented and has a little something for everyone, including children. This festival is unique as all the money generated from this festival returns to the community through various charities and civic organizations. This festival is about chocolate, chocola, and more chocolate; the festival generally averages about 35,000 visitors and offers chocolate treats, cooking demonstrations, an assortment of games and prizes, a kiddie’s area, and lots of music and other activities. This is the 25th year for this festival and each year more professional chocolate creators attend offering guests a large and tasty selection of chocolate goodies. This event is organized and run by community volunteers and supports more than 65 national and local charities. Guests are reminded to bring sunscreen for the children.
This event will feature many vendors with information about the local tourist area, as well as vendors selling an assortment of products for Mother’s Day. This festival also offers ongoing live music, an opening ceremony, a chocolate competition, and various varieties of chocolate sure to please everyone’s taste.
Banner printing and flyer printing for anyone displaying their wares at the event is available from local print shops. The cost for admission is $8 for adults, $$3 for kid’s five to twelve, and parking for this event costs $5 on the grounds.
