Michael’s opens new store in Braintree

Michael’s, a retailer specializing in arts and crafts, recently announced that it will be opening a new location in Braintree with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony later this month.

No doubt flyer printing is being used to distribute flyers throughout the community to customers and other interested parties of this grand opening celebration.

The new store is 20,409 square feet in size and located at was once an OfficeMax. The new store is a short distance away from its previous location in the Ivory Plaza. There will be a new design to the store, which will employ 60 people.

According to a press release, the store will be giving away gift cards and prizes worth more than $1,000 every hour throughout the day. There will also be a plinko prize board where customers can win prizes for the entire family, and this will include such products as art supplies, jewelry, and stickers.

The grand opening ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 16, with ribbon cutting at 9:45 am and the doors of the store opening at 10:00 am.

The grand opening event will be followed by free store craft demos in the evenings from Monday through Friday, with a special gift basket to be awarded each evening to one attendee. Every Saturday, for a $2 fee, kids can get involved in crafting events to explore their creativity.
