Chamber has big plans for September

The Tolland County Chamber of Commerce is getting right back into the thick of things with the hosting of the next ‘Business After Hours’ event along with ‘Business Over Breakfast’, ‘Happy Hour’, and even the announcement of an upcoming Open House. As far as members of the business community are concerned, there is something to be said for the networking opportunities that are being made available in September.

Out of these events, the first one on the calendar is Business After Hours. Taking place September 18, local professionals are certainly getting a chance to relate to one another in a low-key setting. It all starts at 5:00 pm at the Star Hill Family Athletic Center. With family invited to attend this two hour meet-up, this is another chance to bond with other chamber members while having a fun time with loved ones.

Two days after the After Hours event, the chamber will then be hosting “Business Over Breakfast” at Vernon Manor on September 20. Being held in the morning, with a start time of 7:45 am, while wrapping up at 9:00 am, this is a proven means of acquiring contacts and gaining new referrals. Since seats are limited here, however, interested individuals will have to sign up quickly.

Printing services like business card printing and flyer printing will still probably be necessary a week later, with the chamber hosting ‘Happy Hour’ on September 27. Immediately following that one, the Vernon Manor Health Care Center will be holding an Open House on September 28.
