Shelton Chamber to host sales workshop
May 8, 2012 by Mark
Shelton professionals and administrators will be getting every opportunity to plug into the business community this month with the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce hosting both networking sessions and practical presentations during this meeting.
Local business owners will be able to get a solid amount of networking done with the Seeds to Leads Group session being held May 23rd. Revolving primarily around referrals and sales generating, this early morning-based group is about more than swapping business cards. It’s also a place where attendees can get all the latest news on what’s going on locally while also getting a chance to discuss the topics that matter to everyone. Starting in the morning at 7:45 am and concluding at 9:00 am, this is a worthwhile group for chamber members to look into.
For those who are a little more interested in using digital business cards along with their conventional business card printing , the “Marketing Your (Local) Business Online” workshop on the 25th is a great place to start. With a presentation title like “The 10 Most Common Mistakes and What to Do Instead”, it’s immediately clear that Mike Liebensohn of CT Local Marketing isn’t going to be pulling any punches at this one.
Finally, the month ends on a high note for the Chamber with “Convert Conversations into Clients” being hosted May 30th. Over the course of this 3 hour workshop, recognized sales specialist Kim Kasparian is going to be showing Shelton professionals how to capitalize on referrals. Where informative events are concerned, it’s hard to do better than these.
