Santa ready to hear some stories

December 18, 2012 by

‘Story Time with Santa’ is being presented by Kids Night Out and is an afternoon aimed at children and featuring a number of stories, holiday cheer, and caroling. This is a great family outing for everyone, no matter what age group. There is something planned for everyone and this fundraising initiative.

Guests are asked to drop off new unwrapped toys and or gift cards so that Spooner House can purchase the necessary items that families will require over the holiday season. For those who are on Facebook, wish lists can be created and printed out so that when they come to this event, they can give their list to Santa.

Liquid Lunch, the host of this Story Time with Santa, is a drop off location for toys and donation for Spooner House. During this afternoon, children and their parents will enjoy a number of activities to keep the fun going. Parents are reminded to bring their cameras so they can take pictures of their children visiting with Santa. During this afternoon event, complimentary hot cocoa and goodies will be provided.

Flyer printing throughout the community was probably used to notify parents about this wonderful event, which they can share with their children. Admission is free, although a toy or gift card donation is requested. Story Time with Santa will be happening this Saturday, December 22, starting at 11:00 am at Liquid Lunch located at 434 Howe Avenue in Shelton, Connecticut.
