Plenty going on in the coming days

Rocky Hill residents have a busy schedule this month, with events like the ‘Third Annual Cookoff for a Cause’ and the ‘Third Celebrate Me Cultural Bazaar’ taking place, along with the ‘Wethersfield Cornfest and Craft Fair’ later on. That combination of events is definitely expected to benefit residents and business owners.
Connoisseurs of “fine chili” were in for a treat with the Third Annual Cookoff for a Cause taking place at the Grove Grand Oaks yesterday, August 23. Starting in the evening at 5:30 pm, 12 restaurants competed for votes as attendees tasted each recipe and judged which one was the best. With the proceeds going towards Connecticut residents who are in need of a hand and the event itself being hosted by The Connection, this was undoubtedly a fantastic cause.
Tomorrow, August 25, the Third Celebrate Me Cultural Bazaar will be taking place in middletown at 10:00 am. Being put down as a combination of the regularly held Celebrate Me Cultural Bazaar as well as the Back to School Community Day Extravaganza, this is a golden opportunity for residents to participate in two interesting events at once. With a turnout expected to number in the hundreds, this is another event for which to clear a space in the schedule.
Speaking of occasions that will require the printing services of brochure printers and other specialist print companies, the Wethersfield Cornfest and Craft Fair is the third occasion of note. Taking place September 15 and being sponsored by the Wethersfield Chamber, business professionals will no doubt benefit directly from getting involved.
