Canine competition seeks contestants

The Perfect Pooches competition is looking for contestants in Norwich and other Eastern Connecticut areas, and winners could earn a prize worth $100.

This annual contest features the most adorable dogs from all over Eastern CT, and The Bulletin’s Perfect Pooches staff are gearing up to finalize submissions and begin the voting process in just a few days.

“We’re looking for a high-resolution image of your dog. Photos should only be of the dog, no other animals or humans in the picture and the dog should not be wearing any clothing other than a collar. A winner will be announced in The Bulletin’s annual Perfect Pooches special section.”

There is still plenty of time to send in submissions online, as the event’s website says:

“[The] deadline to enter your dog is 11:59 p.m., Thursday, March 7. Voting will be open to the public and run from 12 a.m., Friday, March 8 to 11:59 p.m., Sunday, March 24.”

The entry fee for the contest is $10 and can be submitted via debit, credit, check, or cash, and the application is easy to access online. Those looking to submit a photograph can complete a registration form on the website under the ‘Submission’ tab. For those who want to see their perfect dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds online, now is the time to make a submission.

Perfect Pooches might consider using methods like consulting print companies for banner printing and flyer printing to promote the event, in addition to the advertisement on its online bulletin.
