Monroe Chamber soon to host networking event

Monroe residents who love to read can add to their book collections through the Friends of the Edith Wheeler Memorial Summer Book Sale. There has probably been flyer printing and brochures around the library letting people know, but it is worth mentioning that from tomorrow until Wednesday, July 18, the Summer Book Sale will be taking place from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. With prices coming in at ultra-reasonable rates and titles that fall under just about every genre being made available, this is a great opportunity for the community at large to show some support for the library.
Being hosted at Masuk High School, the location is certainly convenient and, with the sale prices kicking in on Monday, there is plenty of time here for buyers to save even more money when coming over to purchase books.
Local professionals are not being excluded either with the ‘Monroe Chamber Biz ‘n Brew’ coming up on Wednesday, July 18, as well. Giving business owners a chance to get an inside look at the process of making wine and beer, this is an excellent chance to unwind. Starting at 5:00 pm and ending two hours later at 7:00 pm, the schedule is certainly suitable. When the fact that members are being charged $12 while guests are charged $15 is also considered, the attraction of this event becomes all the more clear.
