Business Before Hours among chamber’s May highlights

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce is keeping things interesting with the hosting of “Business Before Hours” this month and Western Connecticut Medical Group is doing its part as well by holding an Open House later on.

Business Before Hours will be taking place not too far away from now on May 22 at the Rustic Grille. Beginning at 8:30 am, members of Monroe’s business community are getting a unique opportunity to enjoy a great meal, catch up with old friends while making new contacts, and hear a qualified speaker in Peter Gioia discuss a subject that affects companies in all sectors: the economy.

Going in-depth as he discusses Connecticut’s economy and his thoughts on what the future has in store, Mr. Gioia isn’t going to be pulling any punches in his presentation. As a CBIA Economist with extensive experience of dealing with the media and an impressive professional background that includes working with names like the Federal Reserve Bank and the MetroHartford Economic Alliance, it’s clear that this is going to be an informative event.

Speaking of occasions where it would make sense to order business card printing ahead of time, the Western Connecticut Medical Group is gaining a bit of fast exposure through the hosting of an Open House. Also taking place on the May 22, this session is being held in the evening from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Offering attendees the chance to learn more about the company overall, the refreshments and the freebies are enough to make this a worthwhile consideration.
