Clinton bus trip to break up winter doldrums

January 22, 2013 by

For Middletown residents, one brochure they may or may not have seen is for the Mohegan Sun Casino. An opportunity to explore the Casino at practically no cost and enjoy a day out is available in February but time is of the essence for those who are interested in going.

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is hosting a bus trip to the casino on February 22 at a cost of $35 per person. Since the price includes $15 in bet coupons and a meal credit worth $15 at a choice of restaurants, the transportation cost works out to be only $5. In order to make the trip, seats will need to be reserved in advance with payment. No refunds or credits will be available after February 5. Everyone is welcome, but only those with a prepaid reservation will be able to make the trip. Light refreshments and beverages will be served en route.

It is not uncommon to see brochure and catalog printing carried out in force at this time of year, as these winter months are usually the time at which people are stuck at home and are planning for the year ahead.

The bus, sponsored by Maggie Loves Pets and J.E. Wamer & Sons Painting & Construction will board passengers at Exit 63 at 4:30 pm and start back from Mohegan Sun at 11:30 pm. Those wishing to make reservations, or who have questions, may email the Clinton Chamber of Commerce or phone (860) 669-3889.
