Tuesday to give a ‘Taste of Manchester’

May 10, 2013 by

Manchester residents who love food and consider a good meal an event will need to save up their appetite for the 4th Annual Taste of Manchester.

The event is a culinary celebration, but is not limited to food. Door prizes will be presented and a selection of bands will provide music at some food locations. Attendees will no doubt enjoy the sounds on offer, which have a heavy focus on jazz.

Ticket prices have remained the same, children ages three and under are free, those aged between three and twelve are $12 and taking part costs $20 for adults. A limited number of tickets are available for the event. Tickets purchased on PayPal will be waiting at the Army Navy Club on the day of the Taste. Tickets are also available, while supplies last, at the Manchester Town Hall’s Customer Service & Information Center or the courtesy desk at the Manchester Highland Park Market.

Hopefully, stationery printers for the more than 20 participating restaurants will have been engaged to provide an adequate supply of sample menus with the necessary contact information included. When sampling something delicious, diners are sure to want to be able to remember the name and other information about the restaurant that supplied it.

The Annual Taste of Manchester runs from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm, regardless of weather, on Tuesday, May 14. The celebration winds down at The Army Navy Club with a variety of desserts and the drawing for door prizes.
