On May 11th, 2012, Greg Camp will be performing at the Elks Club, located on Bissell Street in Manchester. The performance, which will take place at 7:00 pm, will be a special benefit concert to help raise money for the Relay for Life team known as “The Jane Gang”.

Camp, a widely known singer and songwriter, will be featured in the performance of the Selectrics; a band based in New York City, while Brian Jarvis, a local artist, will also be making a special guest appearance and will be doing a few songs from his recently released album “Beautifully Broken”.

The benefit show serves dual purposes; not only does it afford the community live music and entertainment, but it also provides an opportunity for the residents to donate to a worthy cause.

The Elks Lodge is known for working with the community for special programs, sponsorships, and events such as this one. The Elks Hall is frequently used to host retirements, showers, birthdays, and more. To host an event, one only needs to rent the facility and invest in a little stationery printing to boost attendance.

Through this concert, the Jane Gang seeks to raise money for the American Cancer Society, to increase awareness of their purpose and goals, and to celebrate the life of their late and very dear friend, Jane Saez, who lost in her battle with cancer in 2009 having touched so many lives while living. Tickets for the event may be purchased for $15.
