Simsbury Chamber steams through April

April 10, 2012 by

Just minutes away from Hartford, the Simsbury Chamber of Commerce has been busy already this April, hosting its Annual Open House and Business Expo today as well as a Technology Open Mic planned for the 24th.

Featuring more than two dozen exhibitors, food, and three hours’ worth of networking, this was a great opportunity for business owners who have a way of interacting with other professionals. While those with exhibits have likely ordered from brochure printers as well as using other printing services like banner printing and poster printing, business card printing is something that everyone should have ready for the next events planned.

Like many of the chamber’s events, this one was open to members of the public as well as the local business community as this ensures a wide range of contacts available.

In light of the fact that the cost of entrance is just $20 per person or $30 at the door, another aspect of this event that stands out is the affordability of it all. With more events like this planned for the future, Hartford professionals should make a point of keeping an eye on the chamber diary.

Speaking of which, business professionals will get another opportunity to support one another during the upcoming Technology Open Mic. As the saying goes:

“technology is a wonderful thing until it stops working as expected”.

In the interests of letting business owners help each other out, attendees will have a chance to share their tips on using technology.
