Dale Carnegie courses begin June 12th

The Chamber of Commerce calendar is filled with a number of events that members stand to benefit from. With a Dale Carnegie Course and a conference coming up one after the other, Hartford-based professionals will have at least a couple of options to choose from.

Between these events, the Dale Carnegie Course is the closest in terms of dates with a listing of June 12th to start. In light of the way that things have been changing from an economic standpoint, career-minded individuals in a number of fields have had to update their skillsets to better suit the new dynamics of today’s workforce. According to the site, risk-taking, problem-solving, and communication are among the subjects being covered during this set. Whether an individual’s spearheading a new project or debating the ins and outs of launching a catalog printing campaign, these skills have a lot of potential applications.

Taking place over the course of three weeks, this upcoming series of workshops has been spaced out for the convenience of those who would be interested in attending. There’s no question that the content will be useful.

Another option that’s available is the 2012 Labor and Employment Law Conference. Being held on the 14th, this one is going to take up most of the afternoon with a start time of 12:30 pm and a conclusion of 6:00 pm. Featuring a lot of in-depth conversation on all the latest goings on and even devoting space to discussion of the “hot button” issues, this completely free event is sure to be packed with all sorts of information.
