Chamber to host two networking events

Even on the heels of the recently-held Mini Golf Tournament, networking is still the name of the game for most members of Hartford’s professional community. Starting with the upcoming West Hartford Connections meet-up and ending with the Business Before Hours get-together taking place later in the month, printing services like business card printing are sure to be needed sooner rather than later.

The action begins this Friday, August 10, with the upcoming installment of West Hartford Connections; an event that has all the hallmarks of a productive networking session. Starting fairly early at 7:30 am and expected to conclude at around 9:00 am, there is plenty of opportunity here for businesspeople to connect with one another over breakfast and make professional contacts in the process.

Structured in the sense that West Hartford Connections is expected to follow a set schedule throughout, those who attend this free event can be confident that they will be able to showcase their products and services. Although there is no cost, organizers are encouraging people to pre-register. To that end, the availability of online registration is a perk well worth considering.

Towards the end of the month, on August 29, there is also going to be a Business Before Hours meet-up. Beginning bright and early at 7:30 am and concluding roughly an hour later, this presentation has been entitled ‘Health Care Costs are Rising: What Can Your Small Business Do About it’. With Myrick Benefits’ Scott Myrick speaking, this is also another one for which to be on the look-out.
