Hobbs London, a clothing store from the United Kingdom and one of the favorite fashion labels of the Duchess of Cambridge, will be opening its first store in the United States in Greenwich later this month.

Hobbs USA President, Jim Walters, commented that the company is looking forward to offering an alternative label to the women of Greenwich. He adds that the store will have contemporary clothing and accessories that meet both formal and casual needs, with a touch of London.

The flagship store in Greenwich will be 1,400 square feet in size and showcase the style, quality, and luxury of Great Britain. Among the sets featured will the Hobbs’ Palace Collection, which collaborates with Historic Royal Palaces – an independent charity that cares for six major British palaces, including Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace, and the Tower of London.

Sandy Verdon, creative director, added that the décor of the store will reflect American craftsmanship, with upholstery and lighting from local sources and original crafted by those in the area to set the scene for the merchandise being offered.

The store plans to open on April 26. The company might benefit from the assistance of a local printing company to advertise the opening of the new store and its unique brand, perhaps using posters and banners to draw attention.
