Chamber to host August After Six meet-up

With the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce hosting ‘August After Six’ and the Old Greenwich Farmer’s Market keeping things going weekly, residents and professionals alike each have an event to look forward to that will be centered around their interests.

The first of these events takes place next week, on August 14, with August After Six. Once again offering business owners an opportunity to network with each other in a laid-back setting, this meet-up is unique in that it is being hosted outdoors this time around. Featuring great food and drinks to go with the quality conversation, canny business owners might consider consulting print companies for business card printing ahead of the event.

Starting at 5:30 pm and ending an hour and a half later at 7:00 pm, this is as good a chance as any to really connect with other professionals and find reliable contacts.

Another occasion that is undoubtedly of interest to the community is that of the ongoing Old Greenwich Farmer’s Market. Taking place every Wednesday throughout the month, the sheer variety of goods being sold here make it easier for buyers and sellers to meet one another halfway. According to online advertisements, fruit, flowers, vegetables, meat, eggs, and bread are just a few of the many items that will be available for visitors to get their hands on.

Being held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on each market day, there is something to be said for the discounts and deals that are likely to be available at this one.
