Discover some new artists in Fairfield

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce’s 50th annual Arts and Crafts Show will take place at the Old Town Hall Green on June 23rd – 24th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm each day. Between 1,500 and 2,000 people are expected to attend this event.

The show will feature from 80 to 100 artists and crafters and attracts participants from all over the East Coast of the United States, and it is a juried show. In addition to arts and crafts there will be a Kiwanis cookout and a Chinese auction. Fairfield companies and chamber members will most likely be donating items for the auction. They can let their customers know about it by arranging for flyer printing services; they can then send out flyers to customers or have them hand delivered to everyone within a specific distance of the company. This might have the effect of convincing more people to take part in the Arts and Crafts Show.

Art and crafts spaces can be rented for $225 for a 10 x 10 space, $300 for a stand-alone 10 x 10 space and $350 for a 10 x 30 space. In addition to being judged and receiving prizes, artists and crafters will gain wider exposure to the public. Those who attend the show might also discover a new artist and possibly start a long-term business relationship with them. Chamber members might also be willing to display the work of artists they have discovered at the show at their places of business; restaurants especially often have a deal where they display works of arts on their walls.
