Enfield car enthusiasts will no doubt want to take the half-hour drive to Hartford to attend the upcoming Connecticut International Auto Show next month, at which over 25 car lines will be represented.
Dealer and factory representatives will answer questions as they present domestic and import model vehicles ranging from sport utilities and light trucks to cars, hybrids, crossovers, and vans. The Ride and Drive will allow anyone over 18 with a valid driver’s license to take many of the most popular and modern vehicles for a quick trip around the Convention Center.
Ladies over 21 who arrive at the show on Friday after 5:00 pm will receive a $2 discount on admission and, if they bring wearable shoes to donate to Goodwill, they will receive a ticket for a Pink Cadillac martini. Kids can enjoy the Sprint car simulators and the RC racing track.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Foundation of the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association, which began operations in 1987 and has donated over $800,000 to Connecticut’s nonprofit organizations that sponsor special projects and programs for the arts, culture, education, the homeless, and groups in need. Print companies can sponsor the show allowing them to sell services and products, distribute information, conduct surveys, sample products, and grow their customer database.
The International Auto Show will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, November 22-24. Hours will be 11:00 am to 9:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday.
