Chamber hosting webinar and management workshops
April 4, 2012 by Sarah
East Haven entrepreneurs will be getting an unprecedented opportunity to learn about using webinars to promote themselves through the Technology Council, as well as how to encourage workplace unity with the help of the Human Resource Council later on.
The festivities begin April 11th, with the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce’s Technology Council hosting a workshop called “Winning Webinars: How to Leverage Your Selling and Marketing Efforts”. A webinar, or an online seminar, is a great way to reach prospects while establishing a company as a leader in its field.
Used in combination with quality digital business cards , this is a great way to drum up some extra business at minimal cost. Going from 8:00am to 9:30am, this hour and a half event is going to teach attendees how to plan and host a webinar. Hosted by Response Marketing’s Paul Lavoie, those who show up for this one will leave with plenty of useful information.
Towards the end of the month on the 27th, the Human Resource Council is going to be putting on a seminar entitled “Preventing Workplace Violence by Managing Organizational Conflict”. In light of the way employees and managers depend on each other in order to produce the best results, it’s in everyone’s best interests to ensure that workplace relations run smoothly. Jane Zirlis, a professional consultant, is going to be sharing how administrations can manage conflict.
Free for chamber members to attend, and priced at just $10 for those who aren’t a part of the Greater New Haven Chamber, these are two informative but affordable workshops for business professionals.
