Wolcott Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner highlights April

April 4, 2012 by

With constructive meetings, a chance to have breakfast while learning from an experienced individual, and an Awards Dinner all coming up soon, professionals who are based within the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce area have a wide selection of events to choose from in the coming weeks.

According to the website’s calendar, the activity begins with the Finance & Investment Meeting taking place on April 10th. Listed as an early morning affair, with a start time of 8:00am and a conclusion of around 9:00am, this agenda is certainly convenient for most professionals. Whether looking at ways to save money or considering a specific retirement strategy, this is a meet-up that will feature plenty of worthwhile advice.

The next meeting of interest is the Eggs & Issues Breakfast being held at the Chippanee Golf Club right here in Bristol on the 26th. According to the chamber, the speaker at this event is going to be Matt Wiggin, who’s in charge of Business Communications at Aetna. With credentials that include time served as a political director, government work, and strategic planning, his presentation is going to be nothing less than interesting.

Perhaps the biggest event of the month, however, is the Wolcott Chamber’s 53rd Annual Awards Dinner also taking place April 26th. As the flyer printing has likely already stated, the awards being given out here include the Erma Costa Community Service Award, Distinguished Business Person of the Year, 2012 Beautification Award, and the Distinguished Service Award.

No matter what a Bristol professional is looking for, there’s something for everyone this month.
