Business After Hours meeting on May 16th
May 5, 2012 by Mark
Bristol business owners have quite a lot to look forward to with the Central Connecticut Chambers of Commerce hosting both a Business After Hours meeting and a Workforce Investment Act Orientation Session taking place shortly afterwards. Whether looking to put that fresh batch of print company-produced business cards to work or instead hoping to see how the chamber is giving back to the community by helping residents get themselves back into the workforce.
On the 16th of May, the Chamber of Commerce is going to be holding a Business After Hours event at Premier Portraits Studio. Starting at 5:00 pm and ending just two hours later at 7:00 pm, local business owners and professionals are encouraged to be at this one. Offering members of the business community an opportunity to meet new friends, future venture partners, and clients, there are plenty of incentives for putting in an appearance here. Between the food, beverages, and the friendly conversation, this should be a very productive session for networkers.
As an aside, another point worth mentioning is the exposure that comes with sponsorship. By providing the venue for this upcoming After Hours meet-up, Premier Portraits will be able to get itself in front of company decision makers. The short blurb the studio’s putting on can only help in this regard.
Closer to the end of the month on May 23rd, the Chamber will be making sure that residents get all the information they need on what the Workforce Investment Act means for them. All in all, this is another date to keep an eye on.
