Bristol High School to raise funds through golf tournament

July 1, 2013 by

Bristol Central High School in Bristol, Connecticut will be holding its annual Football Booster Club Golf Tournament next month to support the student athlete scholarship program. Some of the proceeds will also go towards the purchase of new equipment for the football team and maintaining the school’s football facilities.

Costs for the tournament are $125 for individual players and $500 for teams (foursomes) and include both dinner and lunch. The dinner can also be purchased separately for $35 per person.

For those wishing to promote the tournament, poster printing can be done using the 2013 Tournament Poster that has been created for the event. It is available for download at the event website. Photographs of the event will be posted on the site after the event for anyone who might want to download them and have copies made via a printing company.

Corporate hole sponsorships are also being offered once again this year—a form for participation is available on the site with prices ranging from $150 to $225 depending on ad size displayed in the tournament brochure. Corporate logos will also be enlarged, perhaps via a local print company, and displayed at one of the 18 holes played in the tournament.

The tournament will be held at the Chippanee Golf Club on Thursday, August 8. Those who wish to participate in the tournament need to download and print the Registration Form from the event’s website, fill it out, and mail it (along with a check) to the address listed on the form. Pullover jackets for the event will be included in the registration fee.
