Wauwatosa to show moms some love

April 30, 2017 by

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and Wauwatosa families may wish to make plans now to treat mom to a pancake breakfast in support of the community’s Crime Stoppers group.

The day will kick off at 8:00 am with a big breakfast of pancakes, sausages, and a wide assortment of extras, including Starbucks’s coffee, juice, and milk. Each mom who attends will be given a flower to take home, and there will also be games for the kids, raffles, balloons, and some surprises too. McGruff the Crime Dog will be on hand to meet the kids, and the organizers have planned for it to be a good time for all.

Tickets for the morning will be available for purchase at the door, and they will be $7 for adults, $3 for children ages three to eight, and those two and under will be admitted free of charge. It will take place in the Muellner building in Hart Park, and all local families are welcome. A printer can supply festive banners, decorations, and an assortment of other printed items for a function such as this.

The Mother’s Day meal will take place on May 14. Last year, more than 600 people came out for the event, and its planners hope that this year will prove to be just as much of a success.
