Care for the caregiver in Wauwatosa

October 27, 2016 by

Those who care for someone who is elderly or infirm in Wauwatosa are invited to come out to an event that has been planned just for them.

The daylong seminar, which is open to all caregivers both professional and family, will focus on a variety of subject areas related to the topic of providing care. Nine different workshops will take place throughout the day, and each participant can select the three that are of the most interest to them. In addition to this, there will be a presentation by Stephanie Sue Stein, who has been booked to be the keynote speaker for the event. A printer can be called upon to produce promotional products that can be given out as swag during an event such as this.

The registration fee has been set at $15, which includes refreshments and a meal. There are both Respite Care Funds and scholarships available to those can use them, and they will be dispersed on a first come, first served basis. Further details about this can be obtained by calling 414-220-8600.

The Caring for the Caregiver conference will take place on December 3, starting at 9:00 am. It will run until 4:00 pm, and will be held at the Marquette University Alumni Memorial Union. An opportunity to register, along with more information, can be found here.
