Latin-American cultural come-together on its way

April 30, 2013 by

Now less than a month away, the Fiesta Cultural Latinoamericana is a celebration of Latino American culture and includes events that promote awareness about Latinos’ and Americans’ history and achievements.

Ideal for the entire family, it will offer cultural and educational awareness in celebration of the distinct qualities of these people. Poster printing and flyer printing by local printing companies may have been the chosen method for promoting this event to people in this region and the community.

The cultural extravaganza will begin with a 5K walk in the park, proceeds of which will go to Childhood Cancer Research. It will then feature Mexican crafts, folklorico ballet, traditional music, and a number of activities for adults and children to enjoy. There will be both Mexican and American foods, together with an invigorating dance competition being staged throughout the day. Young people who attend this fiesta will enjoy three-a-side youth soccer games.

Anybody who enjoys learning about various cultures is sure to enjoy all this festival of events has to offer, as parents and children come together to learn about how different cultures can celebrate and unite in one location.

It is the fourth time this annual festival has been held and everyone is invited to attend free of charge. The Fiesta Cultural Latinoamericana will be happening all day on Saturday, May 18, at Riverside Park located at 812 Labaree Street in Watertown, Wisconsin.
