Fun run and walk to raise money for local humane society

August 23, 2013 by

The Lucky Clovers 5K Fun Run/Walk is set to take place in Watertown this weekend.

The event gives the residents of Watertown an opportunity to come out and support a worthy cause, while having fun and socializing with friends and family. Banner printing, flyer printing, and poster printing may have been chosen to promote this fundraising event to people in this community and the surrounding area.

This fundraiser will benefit the Watertown Humane Society, as well as the Lucky Clovers 4H Club, and will give people a leisurely walk or run along the designated route. Donations are being accepted at this event to help the groups with care and support for the animals in their charge, and include Purina Cat Chow and Dog Chow, kitty litter, liquid laundry soap, paper towels, air fresheners, and Gift Cards to Walmart, Kwik Trip, or Farm and Fleet.

Donations of all sizes are gladly accepted. Entry fees must be paid at check-in time in cash only. There will be door prizes given out and free water bottles for the first 100 registered. No pets or strollers are permitted.

The cost to enter this walk/run is $10 per person and children under 10 enter free. The Lucky Clovers 5K Fun Run/Walk will be happening on Saturday, August 24, with registration at 7:30am and the walk/run at 9:00am at Brandt Quirk Park located at 800 Carriage Hill Drive in Watertown, Wisconsin.
