On Sunday, May 20 the Fond du Lac Women’s Chorus will be presenting their “Annual Spring Concert”, which is called “Music of Our Lives” at the Memorial Baptist Church located at 645 Forest Avenue in N. Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This presentation is a celebration of music and harmony.
This wonderful chorus has been rehearsing and singing together for many year and the highlight’s of this year’s annual spring concert will include many of the delightful songs that people have enjoyed over a great many years. This year’s songs will include “I Enjoy Being a Girl”, “I Feel Pretty”, “Try to Remember”, “Li’l Liza Jane”, “Polly Wolly Doole”, and many, many more. These musical renditions will be accompanied by guest artists, Serena Kamps, who will be playing the harp, as the chorus accompanies them. Kris Bartelt is the director of this fine chorus and Georgene Antos is an accompanist.
This performance will be a memorable experience for the audience, especially if they have never attended one of the Fond du Lac Women’s Chorus annual events. The audience often finds itself humming along with the various memorable tunes. The Harpist at this event will also have one or two solo pieces for the audience to enjoy.
