Dance sessions get a Caribbean twist

September 20, 2012 by

North Fond du Lac boogie-woogiers who love to strut their stuff are sure to find that ‘Caribbean Nights’ at the Shut up and Dance Ballrooms is the place to be.

This ongoing weekly event offers beginning dancers the opportunity to enjoy learning how to Salsa dance and then practice it every week after they have mastered it. This evening also includes an ‘open’ dance following the Salsa lesson, featuring a wide selection of great dance music, so guests can practice other forms of dance as well. Singles are welcome and this weekly dance is open to the public, plus it requires no special clothing or equipment.

This is a great opportunity to meet other people with the same interests and to enjoy music and light refreshments in a lush tropical setting. Guests are welcome to bring their own refreshments if they wish and registration in advance is not required.

The Shut Up and Dance Ballroom Studio has professional dance instructors and offers classes in salsa, swing, Latin, and ballroom dancing to everybody from beginners to advance students. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to advertise this weekly function to members of the community and surrounding areas. These special Caribbean nights happen every Friday, with the next one taking place on September 21st at 7:30 pm at the Shut Up and Dance Ballroom Studio, just a short drive from North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. For additional details, please visit the Shut up and Dance website or call 920-979-3434.
