Costume party to provide weekend scares
October 26, 2012 by James
This weekend’s ‘Spooktacular Costume Party’ is an annual event that provides North Fond du Lac children and their parents with a chance to come out and enjoy an interesting, yet creepy, experience to celebrate the Halloween season. This event lasts for three days and provides everyone with a chance to experience a little Halloween experimentation and fun.
Starting today, families are invited to dress up in their best Halloween costume and attend the spooky hands-on festivities at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac. This is the fifth year the Museum has prepared the Monster Lab with all types of scary and fun ways to send a chill up the backs of guests. For the first 500 children that arrive, there will be delicious Halloween treat bags given out.
This event is sponsored by K107.1, Agnesian Healthcare, Wempner’s School of Dance, and the Gallery and Frame Shop. Poster printing and flyer printing may have been used to promote this fantastic Halloween event to the families in this community and surrounding communities, as well as promoting the sponsors.
Admission is $5 per person, or free if child is under one year old, or a member of the museum. The ‘Spooktacular Costume Party’ is being held from today Friday, October 26 to Sunday, October 28 from 10am to close at the Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac located at 51 Sheboygan Street in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Metered parking is available on all the streets surrounding the museum and parking after 5:00 pm, and all weekend, is absolutely free.
