Madison prepares for fun at the lake

July 26, 2013 by

The Clean Lakes Festival provides the people of Madison the opportunity to enjoy Monona Lake by taking part in several recreational activities.

A suitable event for all the family, it would not be a surprise if poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing services played their part in sharing information about this festival with people in this community and the surrounding regions.

During this festival, guests will have the opportunity to sample various activities that take place in and around the water. Some of the activities include waterskiing lessons, boat tours, ‘Loop the Lake’ bike rides, canoeing, kayaking, standing paddleboards, and a children’s games and activity area, which includes a slip and slide.

In the afternoon, there is a chance to enjoy the Betty Lou Cruises and the Mad-City Water Skiing Showcase, and some bands that will be perform in the lake on a floating stage as the evening descends. People are reminded to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera to capture some of the action in pictures. This fundraiser is designed to promote public awareness about the lakes and is paid for by several corporate sponsors.

Admission to the festival is free to everyone, and it will be happening tomorrow, July 27, starting at 9:00 am at Law Park located at 410 South Blair Street in Madison, Wisconsin. To learn more about the sponsoring companies, or the festival’s schedule of events, please visit the Clean Lakes Festival website or call the City of Madison’s Park District at 608-266-4711.
