Fruit Fest set to be served up in Madison

June 20, 2013 by

Offering something to look forward to this weekend, the Fruit Fest in Madison is an annual Summer LGBTQI Music Festival suitable for people of all ages.

This festival is organized to celebrate Madison’s gay community and is held annually in June. Poster printing, banner printing, and flyer printing were most likely chosen by the organizers to promote this special event to people in this community.

This festival is an open and family friendly event that offers a number of activities for all people. This year’s feature headlining act is Debbie Gibson, although there are a number of local folk bands, drag queens, and punk bands participating as well.

Some of the top events at this festival include the 3rd Annual Fruit Loop 5 k walk/run, the 3rd Annual Star Fruit Karaoke Competition, and the 2nd Annual Summer Camp Bingo. There are a number of food and alcohol vendors who will be serving beverages and food on the festival grounds, so photo ID may be required. Throughout the festival, there will be live performances, art, vendors, and lots of great music. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This festival is free and everyone is welcome to come out and join the celebration. The Fruit Fest in Madison will take place this Saturday, June 22, at 824 Williamson Street in Madison, Wisconsin.
