Ballet classes to help youngsters spring into step

March 6, 2014 by

Starting in just a couple of days, ‘Itty Bitty Ballet’ is a dance workshop designed for children between the ages of four and six and provides a class to appreciate and study classical ballet movements.

Aiming to build children’s confidence and strength, the facility may have used services like poster printing and flyer printing to promote the course to the community.

For children dreaming of becoming a prince of princess, the class will literally get them started on the right foot. Kids will learn the five individual positions of classical ballet for the lower body, while also developing excellent arm positions. With classes also focusing on different types of jumps, all students attending the course must have ballet slippers.

The cost for children to attend the course is $25 per member and $50 for non-members. The Itty Bitty Ballet classes will be held from this Saturday, March 8, to Saturday, March 29, from 10:00 am to 10:30am at the Parker YMCA located at 1360 Parkview Drive in Milton, Wisconsin, which is just short drive from Janesville. Classes are always held in Room C, and take place on Saturday mornings.

To find out about the following sessions, or to register for the course, please visit the YMCA Janesville website or contact the Fitness Director, Jamie Seitz, at 608-754-9622, Extension 143.
