A Thurber Carnival comes to town

From Thursday, May 17th to Saturday, May 19th Theatre Unlimited will be staging “A Thurber Carnival” at Graig High School located at 401 South Randall Avenue in Janesville, Wisconsin. This performance is scheduled at 7pm each evening.

“A Thurber Carnival” is a great review by James Thurber, adapted by the author, about his stories, casual humorous short pieces, and cartoons. The majority of these delightful work appeared in “The New Yorker”, at some point in time and were very well reader. This author has a large following of fans and readers. The roles in this play are generic and designed as first woman, first man, etc. This performance crew consists of nine actors. Each role in this performance includes a varied number of characters portrays within the sketches of revue’s. This play is directed by Staci Abrahamson, Stacey Mochnick, and Craig Burgum. Theatre Unlimited has produced this play.

The audience will enjoy the evening’s presentation as they are walked through the various stages of the author’s development and re-introduced to some of the loveable characters and cartoons from the past. This revue is a one-of-a-kind event and good fun for all.

Flyer printing and banner printing for his exciting event has probably been used as advertising and promotional material. Tickets for this theatrical production cost $10 per adult and $8 per student. Tickets will be available at the door, although advance tickets sales guarantee guests a seat.
