YMCA School’s Out Day for Easter break
March 24, 2012 by James
On Monday, April 9th 2012, the YMCA, at 11311 W. Howard Avenue in Greenfield, WI, will be hosting its annual YMCA School’s Out Day. This program is for children on Easter break and will begin at 7am and finish at 6pm.
Each year, the Greenfield YMCA hosts this program for children who are out of school for Easter Break as a way to stay in touch with their friends and peers from school. The age group for this program ranges between four and twelve years old. Children are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch, a swimming suit, and a towel to participate in the water events in the pool. Besides the water events, there will also be many other activities including games, crafts, and activities that require running shoes, so please don’t forget them. This event is a good excuse to socialize with friends, as well as make more friends. Children are also encouraged to pack a sweater or jacket, in case it is cool, sunscreen, and some snacks that can be eaten throughout the day.
Visitors should bring along any health records or information the staff may require the day of the event. If a child has any food allergies, please notify staff, many children will be in attendance and the day encourages sharing with others.
Events such as these are a great excuse to utilise the skills of local printing companies for poster printing, flyer printing and banner printing. To learn more about this event or to register, please visit the YMCA’s website or call 414-274-0759.
