Local library to bake up a weekend treat
December 12, 2013 by Sarah
The Greenfield Library is hosting a ‘Holiday Cookie and Bake Sale’ this weekend to assist people who have extremely busy lives and cannot spare the time to bake for the holidays. All the items are homemade and span a wide assortment of delicious treats. The organizers may have used poster printing and flyer printing to promote this tasteful sale to local treat-seekers.
This is an annual event put on by the library to assist people with their holiday baking of homemade cookies and holiday treats. Even people who have baked their own goods might like to stop by and stock up on a few varieties. All the proceeds raised from this fundraising event will go towards the Greenfield Public Library’s programs.
As part of the fun, the GHS Drama Club will be providing two performances of the beloved ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’. These will be happening on the second floor mezzanine and will be taking place at 11:00am and 12:30pm, with everyone being invited to come and watch. This is a great opportunity to get into the holiday spirit by enjoying a favorite Christmas classic.
There is no admission fee and everyone is invited to attend and help support a good cause while enjoying the flavors and entertainment on display. The sales will take place on Saturday, December 14th from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Greenfield Public Library. To learn more about what is happening, visit the library’s website or call it at 414-321-9595.
