Music festival starts to warm up

September 1, 2012 by

Tomorrow sees the ‘Labor of Love Music Festival’ come down to the New Munster Ball Park in New Munster, Wisconsin, just down the road from Burlington. It will be the third appearance of this annual festival.

A family-oriented festival, it will have a delicious bake walk, a soaking wet dunk tank, a baggo tournament, a live auction, plenty of food, a releasing of the doves, and live music on the grounds. Plenty of entertainment and events will be provided, both for adults and children, and there will entry draws for cash prizes. With prizes from $100 to $1,000 up for grabs, visitors are sure to be tempted to try their luck.

Guests are invited to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets, as this is an outdoor event, but are reminded that beverages and food are prohibited. Tickets can be purchased at the gate or a number of downtown merchants, so please see the website for a listing of outlets. This year’s Labor of Love Festival is in memory for Jamie Leigh Wilson.

Flyer printing and poster printing may have been used to promote this fun festival to the residents in the community and outlying areas. The prices of tickets are $15 per person at the gate or $10 if purchased in advance, while children under 7 are free. Everyone is welcome to come along between the running hours of 11:00 am – 8:00 pm tomorrow, September 2. For additional details, please visit the Labor of Love Music Festival website or call Kelly Wilson at 847-814-1415.
