Festival to be choc-full of fun
May 2, 2013 by Sarah
The ChocolateFest theme this year is ‘Peace, Love, and Chocolate’, marking a celebration of the 27th year the event has occurred in the area, and will take place at the end of May.
Community focused, this is the area’s premier festival and the organizers are expecting more than 35,000 people to attend. Guests can expect to visit the carnival, the 2013 Chef Meltdown, the tasty Chocolate Experience Tent, and enjoy a number of local bands, live demonstrations, plenty of shopping, and the spectacular fireworks display planned for the evening hours.
This is a great family event with something planned for everyone. Children will enjoy the fun by participating in rides, games, and other fun activities. Importantly, the event also raises funds and supports more than 65 national and local charity organizations. All the proceeds are donated to these charities and community civic groups.
Admission to this festival is free, although guests will need to check online for the hours, as they vary each day. The ChocolateFest 2013 will be happening from Friday, May 24 until Monday, May 27 at the Burlington Festival Park located at 681 Maryland Avenue in burlington, Wisconsin.
