Wintery evening of fun breezes into Baraboo

January 4, 2013 by

This weekend’s ‘Candlelight Ski, Hike, and Snowshoe’ is open to anyone who wishes to come out and enjoy the crisp fresh air of winter and all that nature has to offer. During this wonderfully romantic evening, there will be two easy one-mile trails open to winter enthusiasts for skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing. Best of all, the trails are lit by torches to add that romantic touch.

The wintery exercise and fun evening is sponsored by the Friends of Mirror Lake State Park and Mirror Lake State Park and will feature some exceptional skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking opportunities that can be shared by loved ones and friends. This event is a great family opportunity to share some quality time. Guests require a Wiconsin State Park Sticker to participate, although those who do not have one but wish to join in can purchase one as they enter the park. The Friends of Mirror Lake State Park will be serving all kinds of hot foods, some great goodies, and an assortment of hot drinks that can be purchased before joining other guests around the bonfires.

Poster printing may have been the selection used to advertise this event. Admission is free with a Mirror Lake State Park Sticker and everyone is welcome. The Candlelight Ski, Hike, and Snowshoe will be happening tomorrow, January 5, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Mirror Lake State Park located in Baraboo, Wisconsin. To learn more, please visit the Mirror Lake State Park website or call 608-254-2333.
