April 1, 2012 by Sarah
On Saturday, May 5th, 2012 the Sauk County Humane Society’s Paws Walk and Fun Festival will take place at the Sauk Country Fairground located along the south side of Highway 33 on the east side of Baraboo in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This event will run from 10am to 1pm.
The annual Paws Walk and Fun Festival is one of the largest fundraisers held each year by the Sauk County Humane Society. This event is a family event and is a great way to enjoy a walk with your pet, but also assist the Humane Society to raise the funds it need to keep all the animals in its care in good health. This event features live music, games, prizes, demonstrations, food, and many vendors. This walk is by pledge and pledge forms are available for those who wish to participate in the walk through the Sauk County Humane Society’s website. To make pledges, click on the “Make a Donation” button.
Money raised from this event helps the Sauk Country Humane Society care for the animals by assisting with medication costs, food expenses, spay and nurturing program, programs to help find adoptive parents, treat animals that have been abused, care for animals that have been neglected, and ensure that all animals in its care get the best the society can give them. People who wish to make a donation, but cannot attend the event, are asked to visit the website and make a donation.
