Day of fun for all ages offered this weekend

October 9, 2013 by

In a few days’ time, the ‘Fair on the Square’ will provide residents with the opportunity to share some family fun and live entertainment in Baraboo’s infamous square. Poster printing and flyer printing might have been used to advertise the festivities to people in this community, as well as people in the surrounding regions.

During this event, people will have the chance to explore the wares of more than 150 vendors offering a selection of products, taste delicious foods at the food court, and enjoy live music on the main Stage featuring the Tommy Bentz Band and Gary and the Gators. For the children, there will be bounce houses, face painting, pony rides, games, and activities.

Everyone will enjoy magician T. J. Howell, as well as the juggling showcases, Baraboo bellydancing, the interactive entertainment events, and a performance of Shrek from the Baraboo Theatre Guild. Also on offer will be the Farmers’ Market and Kidz Zone. This is a rain or shine event, so the organizers remind people to be prepared and dress accordingly. As in past years, the organizers are expecting attendance numbers to range between 8,000 and 10,000 visitors.

Admission is free for everyone, and the fair will be taking place this Saturday, October 12, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Square in downtown Baraboo, Wisconsin. To learn more about what is happening on this day, please visit the Downtown Baraboo website or call its office at any time.
