Sioux Falls jazz festival to liven up July

June 9, 2013 by

The 22nd annual Jazz Fest is returning to Sioux Falls for three days this July. This popular event attracts approximately 125,000 visitors to the city each year.

The festival features two stages which will feature local and international artists. This year, two of the better-known performers will be Sheryl Crow and Dr. John.

In addition to great music, the festival will also have food, arts, and crafts for sale. There will be beer and wine gardens and fireworks displays. The children’s area will allow children to take part in singing, dancing, and craft making, and there will also be bounce houses and face painting. It seems that there definitely will be something to appeal to family members of all ages.

Those visiting the city for the Jazz Fest can also enjoy Downtown Crazy Days. Local stores will be holding special deals and extended hours for shoppers during the weekend.

It is very likely that Sioux City printing companies will be providing necessary items, such as banners, posters, and signs, to the organizers of the Jazz Fest. Vendors selling arts and crafts will also no doubt be investing in such products to attract more visitors to their booths.

The Jazz Fest will take place at Yankton Trail Park from July 18 – 20 from 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm each day. Admission is free. For more information, call 605-335-6101.

Downtown Crazy Days is taking place in Sioux Falls over July 19 – 20. Call 605-338-4009 to learn more.
