The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce holds a monthly Membership Mixer. The next one will take place at the Sioux Falls Convention Center on June 12th beginning at 4:30pm. Tickets are $3.

Those who are considering joining the Chamber are welcome to attend the Membership Mixer. The June 12th event will also feature a business fair. In addition to meeting other members and finding out about each other’s products and/or services, guests will be served beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Sioux Falls companies that plan to take part in the business fair can depend on local printing companies to provide marketing materials to offer at the event. They can also provide the necessary business card printing services that all business leaders must have.

There are a few tips to remember when attending a networking event such as this. Bringing at least 50 cards to any networking meeting is crucial; nobody wants to run out of cards. Each person should also have memorized a 30-second blurb or “elevator speech” which talks about their business and what they can do to help other businesses. Finally, it is important to follow up on all connections as quickly as possible, preferably the next morning.
